  • When replacing garage springs, it is recommended to replace both springs at the same time, to ensure the spring tension and door remain balanced.

  • Wessex Brown Spring used on Wessex / Ellard heavy, double garage doors pre 1998. 

  • The Wessex Brown Spring can be used to replace the now obsolete Wessex Green Spring fitted to Wessex H gear - if unsure please send us pictures of the back of your door as there are 2 types of obsolete green springs fitted to 2 different gear types.
